Martel Rated By Industry Publication Among America’s Fastest-Growing Companies
Growth and success have come relatively quickly for Sean Miller and his Martel Windows & Doors L.L.C. team. The Austin, Texas-based company, which places a premium on customer service and quality products, was recently spotlighted as a rising star in the window and door profession by a highly-respected industry publication.
In an article entitled “There They Grow Again….”, the June/July 2015 edition of Door & Window Market Magazine identified Martel as one of the three fastest growing window and door companies in the nation.
“I think this is an acknowledgement of the hard work, vision and foresight that we put into our business, from the planning stages all the way through the product selection, installation and after-sale customer service,” said Sean Miller, Owner of Martel Windows and Doors. “The magazine article represents to our competitors why we are successful, and makes us feel extremely fulfilled because this type of notoriety has earned the admiration and respect of our peers.”
While the article appears in a trade publication and does not specifically enhance Martel’s presence and visibility for customer audiences, Miller believes that “gaining the respect of those in our industry through this medium will make us strive to do an even better job of cultivating and serving our customers. We have an even better reputation to live up to now.”
Door & Window Market Magazine cited Martel from among many family- or closely knit associate-owned businesses that have “seen sales soar” in recent years. The publication, in making its selections, paid close attention to higher-end customers while keeping an eye on other market segments. Criteria also included “stellar customer service from the first contact to final installation”, and the presence of a “beautiful, memorable showroom” that impressed customers and assisted the sales efforts.
Martel, fast-tracking family-owned and operated company that Miller started in 2010, grew from $1.1 to $2.2 million in sales from 2013 to 2014, and is projected to boost sales by 18% to about $2.6 million in 2015. The article quoted Miller attributing a great deal of the company’s success to installed sales for homeowners, which he said “has just been an advent of referrals.”
Martel offers the highest quality American-made products constructed of clad wood, fiberglass, vinyl and aluminum. Its product line is used in new residential construction, remodeling and additions, replacements, retail, and multi-family or light commercial applications.
“We really are focused on our clients, and we will stop at nothing to provide good customer service and fulfill their needs,” said Miller,” an active member in the Austin Chapter of the Home Builders Association, National Association of the Remodeling Industry, and The American Institute of Architects. “We also tailor our product line to the consumers who live and work in the central and south Texas regions. Because many of our products are Energy Star rated and/or Green Seal certified, they help those customers to contribute to energy conservation, as well as save them money.”
Miller can draw on his 11-plus years of experience with business-to-business window and door sales achievements with residential and commercial new construction and remodeling markets. He closely works to assist and guide clients to the best window and door solutions that will accurately match their project needs.
